Bridging Blocks | Last Call for Common Ground: A Bridging Blocks Lighting Debate
Think fast, pick a side, and let the friendly debates begin!
Join WHYY’s Bridging Blocks team for a lively evening of lightning-round debates and unexpected conversations at the Love City Brewing. From hot takes and everyday unpopular opinions to questions that might surprise you, you’ll have the chance to challenge your assumptions and hear perspectives different from your own.
Whether you come ready to defend your opinions or simply enjoy a good conversation and make new friends, there’s a place for you. No debate experience required—just bring your curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to disagree agreeably.
Sometimes the best conversations happen over a fun drink with your neighbors, and finding common ground is always worth raising a glass to. Cheers!
This is a facilitated community conversation in which attendees will engage directly with one another in a moderated setting. Rather than a lecture or presentation, the program is designed to encourage dialogue, the exchange of perspectives, and shared learning among participants.
For questions or additional requests, please contact Brisa Luzzi Castro ([email protected]) or Rushawn Stanley ([email protected]). We are happy to assist with any event-related inquiries.
