WHYY's Billy Penn: Billies Awards 2026 

Come celebrate all things Philly at Billy Penn’s 12th annual Billies Awards, on Thursday, Oct. 8 at WHYY Studios, 150 N. 6th Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19106 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.!

The event honors notable community members and groups working over the past year to make the City of Brotherly and Sisterly Love better.

Founded in 2014, Billy Penn at WHYY’s local news coverage connects residents both to noteworthy events and issues in the community as well as each other — “that friend who happens to be really knowledgeable about Philadelphia, the greatest city in the world.”
