Come on out and kick off summer 2025! Let’s build stronger, safer communities—together. Join WHYY News and the Trenton Street Team for a Public Safety BBQ in the park on Sunday, June 29th in Trenton's Roberto Clemente Park at 319 Academy St, Trenton, NJ 08618 from 12 to 3 p.m.
As part of WHYY’s newsroom initiative to connect with communities across South Jersey, we're partnering with local organizations to host this free, family-friendly event centered on bringing neighbors together to share food, connect with community groups, learn about local resources and talk about what public safety and wellness looks like in our city.
There will be an onsite food truck as well opportunities to meet WHYY journalists, community leaders and most importantly, a chance to connect with neighbors and local organizations. Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the area, we welcome you to join us for plenty of good vibes and friendly faces.
