Join WHYY and Uncle Bobbie's for a fireside chat with Ta-Nehisi Coates, an award-winning author and journalist. His books include Between The World and Me, The Water Dancer and The Marvel's book series Black Panther. Ta-Nehisi is currently a writer-in-residence at Howard University. The event will offer insight into one of today's greatest authors." 

In his new book The Message, Coates reflects on his time in Senegal, as well as trips he took to South Carolina and to Israel and the Israeli-occupied West Bank. "It is about the nationalisms of people who are told that they are nothing, that they are not a nation, that they are not a people ... and the stories that we construct to fight back against that," he says.
