Join WHYY for a special evening with Ira Glass, beginning with an exclusive pre-show reception, followed by the McCarter Theatre’s presentation of Stories for a Saturday Night featuring the legendary host of This American Life.
Ira Glass brings his signature style of storytelling to the stage for an evening that is funny, moving, surprising, and unmistakably This American Life. Through stories about ordinary people and unexpected moments, he finds humor and meaning in experiences that can feel remarkably close to our own.
His program is heard each week by over three million listeners and has won the highest honors in broadcasting, including three Emmys (for a TV adaptation), eight Peabody Awards, and the first Pulitzer Prize ever given to a radio show or podcast.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of This American Life or simply a fan of great storytelling, you’re in for a special evening made all the more meaningful by the opportunity to meet Ira Glass before the show.
You can RSVP below, or by contacting donor relations at [email protected] or 215-351-2272.
